we know that for a Quadratic equation

ax^2+bx+c=0, discriminant is b^2-4ac

(A) if b^2-4ac>0 --->two distinct real roots .

(B) if b^2-4ac=0---->two equal real roots .

(C) if b^2-4ac<0--->no real roots.

i. a=2, b=-3, c=5

b^2-4ac=(-3) ^2-4×2×5=-31

so, like this u can try by put the formula in question no.

1 they u can get the results ok mates.

2.i.2k^2+kx+3=0

a=2, b=k, c=3

b^2-4ac=(k) ^2-4×2×3=k^2-24

for equal roots ,

discriminant =0

k^2-24=0

k=-+24=-+26

so, like this same process u can try ii no. also
