Dear Parents
Please help your child write a story using as many article and nouns (given in the table) as possible.
Encourage him/her to add adjectives to each noun to make his/her story more descriptive. Eg. 'a
journey could be changed to 'a long, tiring journey'.
The student must use the exact words given in the table. At certain places, he/she may need to use
the same noun with a different article (i:e, the student can use the same words twice). Eg. Karan
grabbed a jacket as he ran out of the door. When Karah touched the jacket, he felt something strange
inside.....
Make a story map to organise your thoughts (format given on Page 2) and then start writing!
Once upon a time.......
