I believe that we have discussed on how to write the descriptive essay in class. It is necessary to use the adjectives (5 senses) and also to include figurative language in the essay.

1) Based on your understanding, please list out the reason(s) why should we have both criteria as mentioned above?

2) Please provide one(1) sample sentence to tell the difference between the 'telling' & 'showing' sentence.

Example :

Telling: Suzie was blind.

Showing: Suzie felt for the bench with a white cane.
