Answers
The influence of technology has also made a tremendous change in the field of education sector too.
Now a day, in order to engage the children in learning process and to make the teaching process an ease one, schools and managements, are incorporating themselves with smart classroom and virtual classroom.
Though many new innovations are lining up one by one in the education sector, still many educationists feel that teaching the children with help of blackboard is an evergreen teaching strategy.
When we compare and contrast the virtual classroom and real classroom, both have equal pros as well as cons.
If we consider the question “can virtual classroom replace the real classroom?”- Then the answer for it is strict “NO”.
This is because; virtual classroom can work only in those areas where there is no interruption of the power supply as well as network. It lacks the major essence of the teaching learning process which is called LIVE INTERACTION.
It is highly cost -effective and is not user- friendly.
Such type of classroom may sound good to high achievers but for moderate as well as slow learners it is not their cup of tea.
On the other hand, in the real classroom, the child has full benefits to get the maximum knowledge form the teacher.
The teacher, on the other hand, can teach the class in such a way it prefers.
It gives equal opportunity to all types of learners.
Hence it can be concluded that “Virtual classroom can never replace real classroom.”
