Competitions are necessary part of the education purposes

Good morning everyone present; I am going express my views in favor of the motion. Undoubtedly, competitions lead to progress. If there were no competitors, there would not be much progress in any field. Competition in education is a wonderful motivating factor.

In a competition contestants take part in order to win the first position; before the competition they practice hard and learn more skills to do better. In this practice they improve and progress. Similarly, in other competitions also participants endeavor to outsmart their rivals.

This spirit of competition is a must and all good schools use competitions to provide competitive environment to their students. Inter-house co-curricular and extra-curricular competitions are organized to help students develop many skills.

So, completions should be frequently and creatively organized for bringing out the best out of students.
