Answer:

MOTION ON THE TOPIC: THE CURRENT EDUCATION SYSTEM IN THE COUNTRY IS OBSOLETE

Explanation:

Many people claim that developments in the Indian economy can be seen and that the approach is that of bringing about developments in the education sector. Whereas the case scenario is that people fail to realize that that the entire economy is functioning on the hidden economy where private tutors are paid an ample amount of money because students are not taught properly in schools.

This education system has become obsolete because schools function now a days with the sole purpose of minting money. They have made this into an industry.

Half of the country doesn't even have access to proper education, there is also Lack of quality primary education for the poor  and a Limited number of seats in Universities .

In all universities standard is now of  rote memorization with the nature of adopting to cramming behavior rather than learning behavior.

Standardized testing determines aptitude of students rather than the skill level. There is a Lack of diversity in the subjects one may select from in college, example no option to do a double major Math and German.

Pressure comes from parents to do programs like CSE degrees for programming jobs or medicine. Educating for the sake of money and class rather than learning.

Additional extreme pressure due to limited seats resulting in very intense competition between students.

And in the public schools there is increased government monopoly.

Answer:

I am going in favor of the argument that The current education system in the country is obsolete.

Explanation:

Points to validate the above fact.

Education system focuses on theoretical learning rather than practical applications. This has made us just mug up the book and facts and present it in the exam hall. Without even knowing the practical applications of that concept.

It promotes rat race. Competition is promoting rat race in the country like that of JEE and AIIMS-NEET.

Students only memorize things rather than enjoying it.Their sole aim is to pass the exams.
