⚫⚫⚫Shabarimala is a hindu temple dedicated to LORD AYYAPPA in Kerala,India. In the past ,women devotees of mensuration age were not allowed to enter in the temple .This tradition was made since 1991 .

↘️↘️↘️By the year 2018 , a judgement of the Supreme court of India ruled that all pilgrims regardless of gender, including women in the mensurating age group should be allowed entrance to Sabarimala temple .The constitution bench of the supreme court helped that any exceptation placed on women because of biological differences violates the constitution that the ban violates the right to equality under the article 14 and freedom of religion under article 25.This verdict led to protests by people who oppose the verdict .In the year 2019 on 2nd January two women centered the shrine for the 1st time since the supreme court verdict , after attempts by many others failed due to protests by devotees . The CM of kerala Pinarayi Vijayan, confirmed their entry. But however,Women were not allowed to enter inside the temple especially the women between 10 & 50 age group of people. This is because of Malika pura thamna, who wanted to marry Ayyappa.
