Homework is essential for our learning

In Favour :-

Homework is essential for our learning because homework helps us to revise what we have already learnt. For instance, a student who has learnt a concept in class, can further do homework which would be like a revision for him.

Homework not only helps to revise a learnt concept but also helps to increase our brain capacity. We are given homeworks and then we are doing it, we find that we are using our brain powers to crack some maths problems or we are actually thinking about a topic given in our other subjects homework. This is how our brain can perform better and will become sharp.

Also, some students who actually don't study at home, will find a reason to study in doing homework. Homeworks also let us to be prepared for the corresponding tests which helps to get good marks which further helps to keep our parents happy.

Homework helps us to spend more time with the study table and also teaches children how to manage the time as when they get a lot of homework, they manage their time in completing it.

For against :-

Homework is essential for learning. We can't say that it's 100% true. For instance, one who clearly understood a concept in class, need not revise it. And even if he wants to revise, he doesn't need to rely on homework.

Homework may increase brain capacity but it is not false that homework leads to stress. In this modern period, children are so much involves in different kinds of work and therefore they develop a headache. Badminton classes, cricket classes, 5-6 hrs in school, coaching all these is enough to let a little heart go under stress and homework adds to this.

A child who don't wants to study at home, can do well in sports! Or in some else field. We can't force the child that you have to study at home. If he wants, he will and if he doesn't want, even he will do homework under pressure which is not good for a child as we should study with complete interest.

Homework increases brain power. How many students actually do their homework on their own? A few. And those students are the students who actually wants to study. Many else copy their friends homework or from internet. So how can we say that their brain power increased?

A student who wants to study and increase their brain power, doesn't need homework. He can solve further by their book if he wants.

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️✌️
