Answer:

Is academic dishonesty the first step to corruption?

Good morning everyone present; I am going to express my views on ‘is academic dishonesty the first step to corruption’; and I am going to speak in favor of it.

Academic dishonesty is indeed the first step towards corruption. A students who indulges in academic dishonesty indirectly lays the foundation of being dishonest. It instills in his mind that he can achieve everything using unfair means. Any society, state, or country where academic dishonesty is allowed, will surely suffer corruption in all areas. This corruption will work as an impediment to national progress and advancement.

So, academic dishonesty should be nipped in the bud. Teachers have a great role to play in curbing academic dishonesty. Whenever they see any academic dishonesty, strict action should be taken. It should not be condoned. Otherwise the entire educational system will be cankered.

Thank you.

Answer:

Certainly, it is true that academic dishonesty the first step to corruption.

If proper education of the system, of the world and of the business is not provided to the student, he/she can get into bad habits. If he/she would not learnt about what is right and what is wrong, he/she can do anything.

There can be more chances of corruption from an uneducated boy/girl.

Therefore, it is mandatory to provide proper/specific education to young boys/girls. Then only we can expect very less corruption in the country like India.
