that's not so because many parents fail 2 understand thier child in this stage. Yes in before parents used 2 understand them but in today's age the teenagers have some differnt bent of mind so i think that parents r not the best friends of teenagers

Many of my friends say that their mother is like a close friend, but it is possible to find a friend among their parents. I agree that parents play a very important role in our lives, but I don't think it's possible to share everything with them. Many can't even tell the truth in front of their parents, as many children have seen them tell false stories to enjoy their lives. A few days ago, one of my friends wanted to go out with a member of the group, but knew that if her mother asked for a relationship with the group, she wouldn't allow it. ..  She just tells her mom that it's her best friend's birthday party and guesses what her mom allowed her to go there. It's not good to lie, but it's also important to enjoy life at the same time. Many parents are receptive, but nevertheless we cannot share everything with them. The girl can't talk about the boy with her parents, and the boy can't talk about the girlfriend. So how can we say that parents are like best friends to us? Many people still believe that their parents are best friends, but in my opinion, friends are friends with whom you can share anything. You can't hesitate to talk to your boyfriend about your first love affair, but you can't say that in front of your parents. Of course, if you break up and need something, you can't be emotional in front of your parents, but you can cry if you have a boyfriend.
