Answer:

Explanation:

In times today adolescents ( children, teenagers) aim at growing up to be something in the field that they truly love. People are passionate about what they do, they thrive towards big dreams and much more.

However, one of the main reasons apart from financial constraints is the continuous nagging of parents which does not allow them to be what they want to be. This is not just in the case of education and making a career but also in the case of love and commitment towards ones self.

For instance, you might fall in love with somebody but you cannot be with them because your parents do not approve. This happens especially in traditional societies where parents live with their children no matter what. Not just parents but there is even a common joint family system going on.

In such cases parents give such instructions which curtail the wings of freedom of adolescents. These are those times in life when people discover themselves. For instance, a boy might want to become a fashion designer or a girl might want to become an athlete but in backward societies parents have a fear of societal pressure and they hold their children back.

Even in modern societies people have various fears which is why they tend to hold their children back.
