As much as believers feel that animals are better than humans in terms of sincerity and love, the fact remains that there is great difference between animals and humans. Animals have limited thinking and humans have achieved greater evolutionary heights.
To begin with, what we consider as ‘love’ displayed by animals, is nothing more than focusing on gains. For instance, if a person feeds a dog regularly, the dog becomes fond of that individual. Similarly, the dog grows attached to the individual that pats it or the one who takes it on a walk each day. It is really a simple matter of liking the person who brings comfort or joy. Love however, needs to be unconditional and not focused on gains.
Further, humans are at a very high level of evolution. They understand a range of emotions and can display love in a variety of ways. While animals have limited ways of expression, humans show affection physically (through hugs), through small gestures like making someone a card or even by simply being there for someone when the person is lonely. Animals are not equipped to demonstrate such a wide range of responses.
Therefore, it can be concluded that animals cannot possibly reciprocate love better than humans, due to limitations of thinking and evolution.
