Good morning everyone present here. Distinguished guests, learned jury, and my dear fellow students, I stand here to express my views on ‘Be cautious, life is precious. ' I am going to speak in favour of the motion. Benjamin Franklin has rightly said," Distrust and caution are the parents of security.” Another wise man said,"Don't depend upon others for safety--help yourself." I strongly believe we must be very cautious while living each and every moment of our precious life. Others are two busy living their own lives. Why would anyone heed my safety? It is always better to be on your own guard. Others cannot be depended upon. There is ever increasing chaos of traffic on roads. People are in mad rush to reach their destinations. If you omit slightest precautions of safety, your life can be in jeopardy. Be extremely cautious when you drive on road. Be extremely careful with the food you eat outside. For you it's your health; but for others you are just a customer. No one can look after you better than yourself! So don't even think of your safety is concern of anyone else. So I conclude my debate by saying," Don't depend on others for your safety---help yourself. And always remember to be cautious as life is precious.
