When sword can deal immense physical pain to the victim or opponent and even kill the victim , words are enough for disturbing , attacking and killing the victim or opponent or enemy mentally and if you have enough social power , physically . Words are enough to puncture once whole confidence level while showing a sword can worsen a situation and even make the opponent more desperate to fight back. So words are far more powerful than swords.
