- Our house is against the motion of the rise of social media as a primary source concerning news distribution and regrets it. Both news and social media are an integral part of our lives. Social media is a boon and a bane as well and depends accordingly on one's usage of it as a coin has two sides so does social media.
- People post news, and rumours. offensive content and many more in the name of news but many times it happens to be fake or information is misinterpreted or wrongly posted. People consider it a primary source of news distribution. Be it Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and many more, people rely upon these apps to gain knowledge about world affairs, entertainment, sports and various sectors.
- The rise of it as a primary source that is a first-hand or original insight into something. People now use clickbait and bots to earn money and views via social media and don't care about information transfer.
- As social media is free and quick, people prefer it over reading newspapers or articles. However, on the actual end, it is the traditional methods of news distribution like newspapers, articles, magazines and radios that transmit and provide real information.
- Social media saves time compared to reading large paragraphs in the newspaper but not with the cost of real-time information.
