Politics can be a dirty game, but it should not always be like that. The best way to make your voice heard is to work on a grass-roots level, going to every area, talking to local people and trying to rally their support.
You can also take part in party activities and be part of something big, however many people try to do something more sinister.
Something very common in third world countries is to bribe people for votes. This works well in countries with large populations of poor people. Apart from that, many big businesses 'lobby' the government to do their work. This is a bad example of indirect influence and shatters people's trust in democracy

These organizations do not control or share political power. These organizations are formed when people with common occupation, interest, aspirations or opinions come together in order to achieve a common objective
