1) it helps in running the country smooth
2) it cares for the people needs
3) it provides many schemes for the people who are poor

disadvantages:
1) in democracy corruption is involved
2) democracy in some places, is not working properly. After the party gets vote they don't care for people's need

⏩ Elected leaders are also not aware of the needs of the ordinary people, therefore it may leads to bad decisions.
