3. a solar panel- When photons shine on a solar cell, they are absorbed by the cell. If the photons have enough energy they cause the cell to release electrons. If the photons do not have enough energy, their energy is transformed into heat energy
4. a loundspeaker- Speakers work by converting electrical energy into mechanical energy (motion). Themechanical energy compresses air and converts the motion into sound energy or sound pressure level (SPL)
5. computer- Mostly from electrical to heat. The electrical may come from chemical in the form of a battery. A very small proportion of the electrical energy is converted to light (the screen) and sound, and some kinetic in the rotation of fans or hard disk platters.
