x²+4x-12=0
R.H.S=0
by substituting the value of x=2 at the L.H.S
we get,
L.H.S=(2)²+4(2)-12
=4+8-12
=12-12
=0
=R.H.S
therefore,
x=2 is a solution of equation x²+4x-12=0.
