(x + 2)(x - 5) = 0

x(x - 5) + 2(x - 5) = 0

x² - 5x + 2x - 10 = 0

x² - 7x - 10 = 0

x² - 7x = 0 + 10

x² - 7x = 10

(x+2)(x-5)=0

(x+2)(x-5)=0⇒m

(x+2)(x-5)=0⇒m 2

(x+2)(x-5)=0⇒m 2 −3m−10=0

(x+2)(x-5)=0⇒m 2 −3m−10=0Only one variable m.

(x+2)(x-5)=0⇒m 2 −3m−10=0Only one variable m.Maximum index =2

(x+2)(x-5)=0⇒m 2 −3m−10=0Only one variable m.Maximum index =2So, it is a quadratic equation
