Solution:

Decimal expansion of a rational number

is terminating decimal if Denominator has only prime factor of 2 &  5

after Simplifying rational number / fraction

Where HCF ( p , q) = 1

then it would be terminating decimal  if q  has only prime factor of 2  & 5

3/2  = 1.5

2/5 = 0.4

7/( 2 * 5)  = 0/.7
