during the decomposition of ozone the entalpy is highly negative ( delta H) due to the release of large amount of heat and the entropy is relatively positive (delta S) and therefore the gibbs free energy G= H- TS becomes negative. thuse the reaction is spontaneous in nature. so large concentration of ozone is highly dangerous and explosive !

Hope it helps :)

Ozone is thermodynamically unstable since it spontaneously decomposes to oxygen due to - ve ΔH and + ve ΔS. These two effects reinforce each other resulting in large negative Gibbs energy change ΔG for conversion into oxygen. A spontaneous process is a process which is instaneous.
