Answer:

Words aren't enough to describe this iconic telugu movie.

As per my understanding it is the reference point of how entertainingly neat good comedy movie can be made without boring the audience at any point thru from start to end. It is the telugu movie in which all the songs first line were later named as movie titles specially by another great telugu thespian director Hasya Brahma Jandhyala garu.

Special mention, the story of movie Maya Baazar is a fictional episode in great Indian epic Mahabharata. The greatness here is no where at any point in the movie the epic Mahabharata has been mocked or made fun off. This important point is what many of our contemporary movie makers miss and disrespect the epic by ridiculing and mocking some episodes of Mahabharata for the sake of comedy.

Coming to movie again

Right from the Actors S V Ranga Rao Garu,NTR , ANR, Mahanati Savithri, Relangi etc…each and every small artist who acted in the movie has significant role in the movie. Many dialogues and Many Scenes once in a while has been used in many telugu movies till now.

When the movie was remastered and digitized and colored and released in 2010 it ran for more than 50 days in multiplexes in cities and small towns in Andhra.

Another thing I was born 33 years after the movie got released and right from the first time I watched and till now i still feel the movie interesting and refreshing. The point here is Maya Bazaar is that kind of movie that has survived thru generations and never lost its glory.

Many many more I can say….MAYA BAAZAR will always be a Crowned King among all telugu movies. Baahubali can never match even 0.000001% of this movies status

And lovers of this movie, you can watch it n number of times as on Amazon prime.

Answer:

Mayabazar (transl. Market of illusions) is a 1957 Indian epic fantasy film[4] directed by Kadiri Venkata Reddy. It was produced by B. Nagi Reddy and Aluri Chakrapani under their banner, Vijaya Vauhini Studios. The film was shot in both Telugu and Tamil with the same title, but with a few differences in the cast. The story is an adaptation of the folk tale Sasirekha Parinayam, which in turn is based on the epic Mahabharata. It revolves around the roles of Krishna (N. T. Rama Rao) and Ghatotkacha (S. V. Ranga Rao), as they try to reunite Arjuna's son Abhimanyu (Telugu: Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Tamil: Gemini Ganesan) with his love, Balarama's daughter (Savitri). The Telugu version features Gummadi Venkateswara Rao, Mukkamala, Ramana Reddy, and Relangi in supporting roles, with D. Balasubramaniam, R. Balasubramaniam, V. M. Ezhumalai, and K. A. Thangavelu playing those parts in the Tamil version.
