If someone has a passion for something, they find enough motivation to work hard. For instance Bismillah Khan was introduced to the melody of the shehnai when he was 3 years old. He not only took music lessons but worked hard during practice sessions that lasted for hours at a stretch. He would sit at the banks of Ganga, draw inspiration from the music of the waters and render impossible melodies on his shehnai. As is, with most other tasks, accomplishing something great takes a lot of practice, time, effort and determination. Bismillah Khan worked untiringly on his skills and was rewarded handsomely when he became popular on the radio. His popularity started growing exponentially and he was soon famous as an accomplished shehnai player.
