Hey there!

----------

In pure water 25° (298 K)

 [H^{+}] = 1.0 \times 10^{-7}   mol  L^{-1}

 [H^{+}] =   ㏒( 10^{-7}]

and, pH = -㏒ [H^{+}] = -(-7)

pH = 7

Since, in pur water 25°C (298 K)

 [OH^{-}] = 1.0 \times 10^{-7} mol  L^{-1}

Also, pOH =7

Since, Kw =  1.0 \times 10^{-14}

pKw = 14

The realtionship between pKw, pH and pOH is :

w = pH + pOH at 25°C (298 K)

14 = pH + pOH
