1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2+ 1/R3

Where R is equivalent resistance and R1, R2, and R3 is different resistors.

in parallel connection of resistors, the voltage remains same but the current is divided. Therefore
Vp/Re=Vp/R1+Vp/R2+Vp/R3.
