Deduce the expression for the equivalent resistance of the parallel combination of three resistors R1,R2,and R3.

Consider the following electric circuit.

(i) Which two resistors are connected in
series?
(ii) Which two resistors are connected in
parallel?
(iii) If every resistor of the circuit is 2, what
current will flow in the circuit?

Answer:

(i) i guess R1 and R2 are in series connection and (ii) R2 and r3 are in parellel connection (iii) 1 amp current will flow through the circuit

Step-by-step explanation:

1 amp current will flow through the circuit because R5 is short circited with R3 so all the current will follw that path no current will flow through R1. After that  R2 and r3 are in parellel so total resistence will be 1 ohm. total resistance of circuit is now 5 ohm so

I= V/R = 5/5 = 1 amp
