During sexual intercourse, the interaction between the male and female reproductive systems results in fertilization of the woman's ovum by the man's sperm. These are specialized reproductive cells called gametes, created in a process called meiosis.

Well, Not a deep but surely a correct explanation;

Sexual Reproduction is a form of reproduction that is concerned with the So called “FUSION OF GAMETES” or ypu could say sex cells, which in us human beings are ( the male sperm and the female egg).

Sexual reproduction is usually seen in higher organisms, the lower organisms such as amoeba do not show sexual reproduction (rather they replicate themselves) and

by higher, I just dont mean Humans, sexual reproduction is also seen in plants....
