Deep in the ocean,sunlight hardly can reach, yet there are plants such as brown and green algae found here?

they absorb nutrition from dissolved gasses in water

Algae absorbs sunlight as it is just located approximately 300 feet underwater.So there are possibilities of receiving sunlight and it takes oxygen from water and lives even in such extreme conditions too.The algae found in the deep bottom of the oceans are dead ones.
