 Given \: Deepa \: purchased \:3 \: pieces \:of

 clothes \: measuring \: 2 \frac{1}{4} , 3 \frac{5}{6}

 and \: 1 \frac{1}{2}

 \red{ Total \: length \: of \: cloth \: purchased}

 = 2 \frac{1}{4} + 3 \frac{5}{6} + 1 \frac{1}{2}

 = \frac{9}{4} + \frac{23}{6} + \frac{3}{2}

 = \frac{ 9 \times 3 + 23 \times 2 + 3 \times 4 }{12}

 = \frac{ 27 + 46 + 12 }{12}

 = \frac{85}{12}

 = 7 \frac{1}{12}

Therefore.,

 \red{ Total \: length \: of \: cloth \: purchased}

 \green { = 7 \frac{1}{12}}
