when the wire is bent into the circle:

radius of circle:

circumference=πd

cf=28cm

28=πd

d=28÷3.14

d=8.9

r=4.45cm.............1

area of circle=πr^2

=3.14*(4.45)^2

=62.172cm^2..............2

when it is bent into the square:

side=28÷4=7cm

area=s*s

=7*7

=49cm^2
