Since, cost of 12 oranges= ₹7.20
So, cost of one orange= ₹7.20/12
=₹0.60
According to the question, we have
oranges bought by bimal = x+12
so, cost of (x+12) oranges= ₹9.50. this implies that , x+ ₹0.60= ₹9.50
x = ₹(9.50 - 0.60)
=₹ 8.90/-
So, cost of one orange= ₹7.20/12
=₹0.60
