Literacy helps to increase productivity, work and helps in development of a nation. It also helps an individual to understand the problems of our nation. It enables an individual to expand productivity and economy of a nation.

There is also a need to make the people aware about the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. Rural people must also know about balanced diet and nutrition.
