Explanation:

Solution :

Old Ratio=

Deepak:Nilesh:Pratik = 1:2:3

New Share Ratio =

Deepak:Nilesh:Pratik = 2:2:1

Gaining (or Sacrificing) Ratio =New Ratio - Old Ratio

Deepak = 2/5 - 1/6

12-7/30 = 7/30 --------(Gain)

Nilesh = 2/5 - 2/6

12-10/30 = 2/30 ----- (Gain)

Pratik = 1/5 - 3/6

6-15/30 = -9/30 ---- (Sacrifice) Or (Loss)

Therefore,

Deepak =7/30 --------(Gain)

Nilesh = 2/30 ----- (Gain)
