Deepti went on an expedition to Iceland. Because it was very cold there she took a fur coat with her (the photo of the coat is attached). On reaching there she realised that it was so cold that even the fur coat was not enough. A local friend told her to wear the fur coat inside out so that the fur sie was inside. She knew that fur traps air that provides insulation from the cold, but could not understand why inverting the coat made it more effective. Can you solve her confusion?

Explanation:

Yes I can solve her confusion. We all know that the fur coat is made from the hair/fur of many animals and we also know that the hair (fur) on animals body is used by them for many reasons one of them is to keep them warm in winter and when we wear fur coat we also feal hot . When we wear coat inside out it trapes cold air from the environment and release hot air inside the jacket. And it feels more hot then if she wear outside the coat.
