As human beings, we fail at many things but that does not mean that we should stop trying or that it is the end of the world. Failures are diversions in our lives and the most important thing is that we learn from our failures and not repeat the same mistakes.

Bill Gates, the chairman of Microsoft and one of the most successful businessmen in the world, did not become successful in his first attempt at setting up a company. The first company that Bill Gates started was Traf-O-Data, which produced traffic counters, and it failed miserably. However, that did not prevent Bill Gates from trying again. If Bill Gates had lost hope or thought that failure was a dead-end street, we would not be able to enjoy Microsoft products today.

When we try something new, we are bound to make mistakes. Walt Disney once said, “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things because we are curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths”.

It is curiosity that leads to innovation and discoveries, which is why we should never be afraid of taking risks in life. Every successful individual in this world has tasted failure, and it is their determination to move on in life in spite of the failures, which has helped them to gain success.

Thomas Edison succeeded in inventing the incandescent light after his 10,000th attempt, and he claimed that he had not failed but had found 10,000 ways that did not work.

This is exactly how we should look at challenges. Instead of getting disheartened by failure, we should learn from our mistakes and aim for success in the next try.
