Hence the French revolution led to the establishment of a democratic society in France for the first time. Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity became the foundation values of the new born republic. Men were now able to cast their votes (only those who paid 3 quarters of a laborer's wage as tax), and the absolute power of the monarchy was distributed into Judiciary, Executive, and Legislature.
