Answer : There are three types of defect of vision. They are as following:

1) Myopia(short-sightedness) : Defect of eye in which person can not see the distinct objects.

Correction: This defect is corrected by using spectacles having concave lens.

2) Hypermetropia ( long-sighttedness): Defect of eye in which the person can not see the nearby objects.

Correction: This defect is corrected by using spectacles having convex lens.

3) Presbyopia: This problem generally arise in old age.,because of ciliary muscle loses.

Correction: This defect is corrected by using spectacles having both concave and convex lens.

Upper side of spectacles having concave lens and lower side having convex lens.
