Given,
Perpendicular height(gh)=10cm
base(gf)=12cm

Area of triangle=1/2*b*h
=1/2*12*10
=60cm2
So,the area of triangle gef is 60cm2

Area of parallelogram=b*h
=10*12
=120cm2
So,the area of parallelogram defg is 120cm2

DE=GF=12 cmGH=10 cm So area of paralellogram DEFG=base ×height=12×10=120 cm2Since diagonal of a parallelogram divides it into 2 ∆'s of equal areas, then Area of triangle GFE=12area of paralellogram DEFG = 12×120 = 60 cm2
