Vitamin D deficiency:

The deficiency of vitamin D can lead to diseases such as soft bones, causing rickets in children and causing a condition known as osteomalacia in adolescents and adults.

Rickets is mainly the softening and flagging of bones in children, generally because of an extreme and continued vitamin D deficiency. Rare inherited difficulties also can cause rickets
