eg.cuscuta
semi parasitic plants
obtaining some food from host but undergoes photosynthesis at the same time

fully parasite plants are the plants which extends their roots in both xylem n phloem of the plant in order to get water and food respectively.....example cascutta
partial or semi parasitic means they do not completely depend on plants for nutrition...... example rhinanthus, mistletoe
