In a first class lever, the fulcrum is placed in the middle of lever, between the load and the force. Some examples of first class levers are a seesaw, hammer, hoe, scissors, and pliers. In each of these examples, the load is on one end of the lever and the force is put on the other end. The fulcrum is between the two.
