ZEROS OF POLYNOMIAL WITH ONE EXAMPLE
::::::::::
EX:Find the zeros of quadratic polynomial 2x^2+x+1
solution:- middle term splitting
= 2x^2+2x-x+1
=2x(x+1)-1(x+1)
=(2x-1)(x+1)
HENCE, ZEROS ARE:-
2x-1=0. x+1=0
2x=1 x=-1
x=1/2
hence zeros are 1/2 & -1

An algebraic expression in which the variables involved have only non-negative integral powers is called a polynomial.
The zeroes of a polynomial p(x)means solving the equation p(x)=0.
example:- p(x)=2x square -5x+4,find p(2).
solution:- p(x)=2x square -5x+4
=p(2)=(2×2 square -5×2+4)=(8-10+4)=2
