Answer:

The animals which first swallow the large amount food at a time and later bring back the swallowed food into the mouth to chew it again, such animals are called ruminants.

Example - Cows.

  • Rumen is the largest chamber.

  • Ruminants have the cellulose digesting bacteria in their stomach that digest cellulose.

Explanation:

some animals like cow ,first swallow the food.the food is stored in rumen.after some time it takes back the food which it had swallowed.and chew it properly and completely.and then this digested food goes to small intestine.so,animals which follow this process of digestion is known as (Ruminants).
