1) When 2 mirrors are placed facing each other such that they are parallel to each other and an object is placed between the two,then the number of images formed are infinite.This is because the image formed by one mirror acts as the object for the second mirror.This phenomena is called multiple reflection of light. The number of images formed depends on the angle between the mirrors.It is given by the formula 360/ϴ-1.
2)When a light ray incident on the surface of an object is sent back into the same medium, it results in reflection.It can be further divided into regular and diffused reflection.
