define 1 newton and 1 pascal . how will the pressure change if area of contact is doubled

khushi536: hey
khushi536: Force is said to be one newton if an acceleration of 1m/s square is produced in a body of mass 1 kg
khushi536: pressure is said to be one pascal if a (force) thrust of 1 newton up on a body of 1 metre square area
khushi536: if the area is double then the pressure exerted will become half as pressure is inversely proportional to the area
khushi536: I hope this helps

1 newton is the unit of force applied on a body when it makes the body move, whereas 1 pascal is the unit of pressure applied on a body

HOPE THIS HELPS!
