  • Parasites are the organisms which derive their nutrition from host plant on which they feed.
  • In return, they don't benefit the host organism.Host organism can be any plant or any animal.
  • For example ----> roundworms and viruses.

  • Saprophytes are those organisms which feed themselves on dead and decaying organic Matter , and derive their nutrition from it.
  • . For example----> fungi like yeast etc.
