Hey mate,
Your answer:
1.Protons are the positively charged sub-atomic particle of an atom present in the Nucleus.Protons were discovered by Ernest Rutherford.Protons are representated by p^+.
2.Electrons are the negatively charged sub-atomic particle of an atom that revolves around the nucleus in their special discrete orbits.Electrons were discovered by JJ Thomson.Electtons are representated by e^-.
3.Neutrons are the sub-atomic particle of an atom which are electrically neutral.
Neutrons were discovered by J. Chadwick.Neutrons are represented by n^0.

!!!

all these three proton, electron and neutron are subatomic parts. proton was discovered by Eugen Goldstein but he wasn't sure whether they existed or not.. later ernest rutherford identified protons individualy. electron was discovered by J. J. Thomson in 1897 and neutron was discovered by James Chadwick.

protons - protons are present in the nucleus of the atom. they are positively charged and weighs nearly 1amu. atomic number is represented by the no. of protons present in the nucleus.

electrons - electrons revolve around the nucleus in different shells. there are 4 shells K,L,M and N. each shell can have maximum no. of 8 electrons except K which can only have 2 electrons. electrons are positively charged and they weigh negligible as compared to protons and neutrons.

neutrons - neutrons don't have any charge and they are also present in the nucleus of the the atom. they also weigh nearly 1amu. the atomic mass of an also is calculated by the sum of neutons and protons present in the nucleus.

one more thing, the no. of electrons = no. of protons present in an atom.
