translatory motion is the motion in which all points of a moving body move uniformly in the same direction.
a body is said to experience rectilinear motion if any 2 particles of the body travel the same distance along to 2 parallel straight lines.
the motion of an object moving in a curved path is called curvilinear motion.
hope it helps.
