hello user !
>>> We can't really make out which 5 branch of physics are most important, because each is important in it's own way. But I am providing description of 5 branches which I feel important :
_________________________

•KINEMATICS:- This is the branch of physics basically concerned with motion of the objects , but not reference to the forces which cause the motion.
>It is a subdivision of classical mechanics .
>It aims to provide a description of the bodies , the rate at which the body moves ie velocity, and the rate at which their velocity is changing ie acceleration.
>It basically explains motion in a straight line .
_______ ______ ______ ______
•ELECTRODYNAMICS :-This branch of physics is concerned with the study of interaction between electrical charges and currents with magnetic field.
>It has different categories such as computational electrodynamics, electromagnetic radiation, quantum electrodynamics, etc.
>The motion of a current carrying conductor in a magnetic field, the response of a circuit to an AC voltage , the working of an antenna, the propagation of radio waves in the ionosphere, etc, are the problems of electrodynamics.
_______ ______ ______ ______
•THERMODYNAMICS :-Thermodynamics is the branch of physics that deals with the concepts of heat and temperature and the interconversion of heat and other forms of energy.
>Thermodynamics is macroscopic science it deals with bulk systems and does not go into the molecular constitution of matter.
>Thermodynamic description involves relatively few macroscopic variables of the system which are suggested by common sense and can be usually measured directly.
_______ ______ ______ ______
•ELECTROMAGNETISM : It is the branch of science which deals with electromagnetic force , which is a type of interaction or attachment between the electrically charged particles.
>The two aspects of electromagnetism are electricity and magnetism.
>Electromagnetism is produced when an electrical current flows through a simple conductor and then a magnetic field is created along the whole of the conductor.
_______ ______ ______ ______
•CLASSICAL MECHANICS : This is the branch of science which describes the motion of macroscopic objects , from projectiles to parts of machinery.
>It deals with the motion of bodies under the influence of forces or with the equilibrium, ie when all forces are balanced.
>It deals mainly with macroscopic phenomena and includes subjects like mechanics, electrodynamics, optics and thermodynamics.
>Mechanics founded on Newton's laws of motion and the law of gravitation is concerned with the motion of particles rigid and deformable bodies and general systems of particles.
